MvLink Download
System requirements:
MvLink is designed to run on the Windows 9x platform. Windows NT is not supported at this time.
Microsoft IE4 or greater and Miva Mia are required to run Miva scripts using MvLink.
With MvLink, you can create a Windows association that will allow you to
run your Miva programs in the browser of your choice, just by clicking
on a file icon or shortcut. No loading the file into an editor, or
typing a URL in a browser's location box. Just click.
The program allows you to select Netscape, IE, or Mosaic as the browser
of choice.
If you want it to, MvLinks can routinely check to see whether Miva Mia
is running, and start it whenever it's needed.
If you let it, MvLink will also use your Registry to enable you to click
on your Miva or other files anywhere on your computer -- no matter what
you have Miva Mia's document root set to. And it has a restore
procedure that will enable you to reset that path with one click. (The
Registry procedures are quite harmless, and have been thoroughly tested.
They do not create or delete any keys. But the program will NOT write to
your Registry at all unless you choose an option to "Allow MvLink to
manage Miva Mia's document path.")
For those who are not Windows mavens, there's an online help file
directly accessible through MvLink that explains in detail how to set up
the necessary Windows associations.
